Multiplication Games
As we learn about Multiplication and Division concepts we will be learning and playing games to help us master our basic facts. Hopefully you will have as much fun at home playing the games that we are learning here in school.
Hour Of Code
This week we joined millions of students around the world in participating in An Hour of Code. We had such a great time learning computer programming .
The students have all learned how to log on to code.org to practice programming.

Golden Dustpan Award
Our class was awarded the Golden Dustpan Award by Mr. Rousseau for keeping our classroom neat.
Reader's Workshop : Organizing Information from Nonfiction
Today we used Headings, Subheadings and Pop-Out Sentences to organize the information from nonfiction texts. By organizing the new information and using a Boxes and Bullets format we are able to understand and remember new information much more easily.
After reading a text on the amazing octopus we were able to organize the new information using the Boxes and Bullets format.
Students work together to organize information from a variety of texts.
Students share their learning by using their graphic organizers (Boxes and Bullets).
