Every week we go to the computer lab.  We will be working on a variety of different topics.  So far, we have worked on Dancemat Typing and Fun 4 the Brain.  These are both fantastic sites that your child can log on to at home.  Dancemat Typing gives your child practice with keyboarding skills in a fun-filled way .  http://www.bbc.co.uk/guides/z3c6tfr

We are going to begin a unit on the Wampanoag Native Americans and Pilgrims.  The following site brings you right to the plantation.  We will be visiting this site in the classroom in the coming weeks.

Parent Information Night on Envisions and new Report Card

There will be a Parent Information Night to present the new math program "Envisions" and to go over the new Report Card with parents on Wednesday, Novemeber 6th at 6:30 at Oak Street Elementary School.  If you can attend I'm sure it will be well worth your while.

Writer's Workshop

Summer Reading Celebration

We were fortunate enough to enjoy the storytelling by Len Cabral at school on Wednesday.  He was amazing!! Thank you to the PCC and to the Kennedy students and families.  100% of our Third Graders participated in summer reading!!
