Reader's Workshop : The Tale of Desperaux

Our latest Read-Aloud was the Tale of Desperaux by Kate DiCamillo. While reading we focused on defining the character traits of the 3 main characters. Students supported their choices using evidence from the text. After reading, the students came together and made charts listing the defining traits and their evidence to support those traits. Then they shared with the rest of the class.
