Have you ever wondered where maple syrup comes from? Visit River Bend Farm and be a part of the process. This is a fabulous way to learn all about how the sap from a maple tree is tapped and turned into the sweet syrup that we all enjoy. River Bend Farm is about 30 minutes from Franklin and a fabulous place to visit.
Maple Sugar Days will be held Saturday and Sunday, March 19 and 20 from 11 am to 2 pm at the Blackstone River and Heritage State Park, River Bend Farm, 287 Oak Street in Uxbridge, MA. There are guided tours every hour that start at 11 am. The tours demonstrate the art and science of producing maple syrup. See trees being tapped, participate in gathering syrup and visit the steamy sugar house to watch maple syrup being made.
